 Currently I am living in Apple Dale in what I like to call beautiful British Columbia. I have one younger brother and one older sister and they have had a great effect on the person I am today. Seeing that I live in the kootenays one of my biggest interests is the outdoors. From swimming, biking, camping, fishing and hiking in the summer, to skiing, snowboarding and sledding in the winter.

 Who I am as a person is differently described by other people. I would say that I am pretty shy but once I get to know people I am the exact opposite. I love talking to people and exchanging thoughts, making new friends is a great feeling to me. I have heard some of my friends describe me as insecure but they say I get annoying when I’m always trying to find the bright side of things. I am very creative and independent. I am also described as loyal and very honest. I joke around a lot because I like to keep things exciting and funny.

 Basically what I plan to do in my future is to go to college for some profession that I’m really interested at the time such as beauty school or writing. I also plan on continuing with my dance classes because I’ve always hoped to become a professional dancer. By the end of this year I would like to become more comfortable speaking in front of an audience. I would also like to possibly attend a  extra-curricular poetry class to let my writing skills grow.

My full name is Aryana Sweeta Ray and I am a fourteen year old girl, soon to be fifteen! In my life I have moved about ten times to different places around the kootenays. In conclusion I have many different friends from different places and have also become a very open person. I have even stayed in Quebec and Nepal for short periods of time.

 I also love pretty much anything that has to do with performing arts and writing because it’s a great way of expressing myself and challenges me in many different areas. My main hobbies have to do with music like dance, singing, poetry, and just listening to music. I also love to socially interact with people, mostly my friends and family. Usually what I find myself doing in my spare time is relaxing and trying to get as much time with my family and friends as possible. I also go to dance classes which are very important to me and have spent multiple sessions in gymnastics. Sometimes I doodle just for fun, I find it very entertaining and with art, you never know what your going to come up with.

 My family and friends are most important to me out of everything. I like to make them one of my top priorities. Also school and succeeding in curricular activities makes me feel more independent and accomplished. I like and would like to do more stuff to help with my community and other communities around the world.

 The way I seem to learn the best is when I ask a lot of questions, that way I won’t get really confused by the subject in the future. To understand things properly I like to go over them a couple times because repetition is a really good learning tool for me. A lot of the time I like to work in groups when assigned a project because it gives me more of a sense of direction but I also enjoy working alone so I can make some of my own choices.
